Some information that help to visit Japanese web sites

What is "Gijinka"?
Robots are often expressed as human beings; appearing in flesh and blood. This way of expression is called "Gijinka" (it means "treating a thing as if it is a human being.") Many authors feel that drawing a machine is very difficult, however they are used to drawing a human. They are working not to break original personality (color, character, etc...) of robots.
"Hentai"
When you send a E-mail to Japanese, you must never use the word, "Hentai." Most of Japanese feel to be insulted. Though the word is derived from Japanese word, but "Hentai" is NOT used as a word which shows "Yaoi" in Japan. And furthermore, "Hentai" is a one of the most insulting adjective. If you want to get along with Japanese, you shouldn't use that word.
